APQO Conference Makes History in Kathmandu with 6 Award Categories and a Diverse Array of Papers

15 Nov, Kathmandu – Asia Pacific Quality Organization is finally set up to inaugurate the International conference in Kathmandu 17-18 November with the   6 category of awards and 6 theme of the papers.

President of the Asia Pacific Quality Organization Mangalika de Silva said most of the participants will be arrived 16th of November until late night from 25 different countries.

It is a more than thirty five-years old non- profit umbrella organization that has brought together professional quality organizations that border on the Pacific Ocean. It includes over 25 organizations representing countries.

“We at Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO) are thrilled that the 2023 conference is being held in Kathmandu, Nepal, the city of temples from 17th to 18th November 2023. Being at the foothills of Himalayas this tourist hotspot is a much sought after location for our international visitors from all over the world who are gathering together for the face-to-face conference after a gap of 3 years and is expected to be a grand conference” she added.

Key note speaker Mr Michael W McLean from Australia will be speaking on “What to Keep, Change and Create for a sustainable competitive organization.”  Next key note speaker Dr. Alexander Thomas  from India will speak on “Quality Health for the Creation of a More Sustainable, Competitive, and Human World” in the conference.

Speaker David Jago will speak on “Why Quality matters in a time of crisis”, Anindya Sarangi will speak on “Evolving Role of Quality Professional”, Isuja Aryal will be speak on “Possibility of Sustainable tourism through application of ISO 14001:2015: A case study” in the Conference.

In the conference Sanjeewanee Samaraweera will be speak on “Navigating towards sustainable, competitive & human world with quality thinking”, so on Abraham Fenn  will be presented his paper on  “Building Resilient Business Strategies for a Just and Sustainable World”

Yvonne Kanenga Nawila from Ministry of Labour and Social Security, Zambia will speak “Building a sustainable, Green – People Centered – Corporate Culture” José Francisco González Prado from Instituto Mexicano de Control de Calidad, A.C. México will be presented on “Let’s develop the ability to plan processes, the natural result of which is quality products”

In the next day 18th of November Vandana CG will speak on “Implementation of a standardised emergency department handover tool to Improve communication”, so on Jeff Ryall will speak on “‘Fit-for-Purpose’ Quality Practitioner Competence – The development of the AOQ Professional Recognition Scheme”, Saliza Saari will present her paper on “Boosting Productivity through Innovation for Enterprises”

Dr Martin Andrew  will speak on “The role of the auditor in an organisation’s journey to Quality maturity”, and finally Engr. Angelica Cortero Fraginal will speak on her paper  “A Testimonial: Helping Organizations Sustain Organizational Excellence by being a National Quality Award Assessor”

Finally, Conference will wrap up with the excellence, contribution, innovation and best practice internationally recognised APQO awards
