7 Nov. Kathmandu, New Zealand based Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO) is going to organize 28th international conference in Kathmandu in 17-18 November with the expected participants of 300, APQO president Mangalika De Silva said.
Conference is going to be held with the theme of the ‘quality for the creation of a more sustainable, competitive and human world’
Quality leader Dr. Janardan Ghimire said Nepalese tourism industry has good opportunities to reach the global quality market via this conference.
Our aim is to improve quality, excellence and continue to be centre for excellence in the Asia Pacific region. We together trying to improve quality discipline all over the world. To all the global organizations, we share same view, intention; objectives are almost the same, da Silva said.

Key note speaker of the conference are Mr. Michael W McLean, Managing Director, McLean Management Consultants (Pvt) Ltd, AUSTRALIA will be presented on “What to Keep, Change and Create for a sustainable competitive organization” and Dr. Alexander Thomas Founder and Patron, Association of Healthcare Providers India, Association of National Board Accredited Institutions & Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organization speak on “Quality Health for the Creation of a More Sustainable, Competitive, and Human World”
Conference has additional event as award ceremony for the excellent quality control service around the world, it announces that fifteen role model organizations from six countries are being recognized for achieving significant milestones on their business excellence journey except from Nepal.
The 1st Asia Pacific Quality Control Organization Conference was held in Beijing, China in October 1985. This was the first International Conference ever to be held in China. It was a historic event from the point of view of China and the world.
Finally, conference will be concluding with the handover APQO flag to next host in Mexico in 2024.
